Six live webinars
1. Introduction
In our first webinar, we will welcome all coaches and give an introduction to the Guided Coaching Programme, talk about objectives with the training, and the importance of female health in sport.
2. Menstrual Cycles
Learn how to build your confidence with this topic and use exercise to support women throughout their cycle. We will discuss the different stages of the menstrual cycle and what the science currently shows (and doesn’t) with regards to health, sport and performance.
3. Injury Resilience in Women
A lot that can be done to help reduce the risk of injury in women. This session will cover the variables you can and can’t influence, and how you can help to build strong, resilient bodies to reduce the risk of injury when doing the sport that they love.
4. Nutrition and Fuelling
In this session, we will explore how nutrition can improve women’s hormonal health, how to encourage positive relationships with food, and the unique approaches to health and weight management according to women’s physiology.
5. Pelvic Health
Many athletes report issues such as leaking when playing. While that is considered normal, it is not. Sport is an untapped resource when it comes to educating women about their pelvic health, and this session will teach you how to help women with theirs, covering theory and practical exercises.
6. Breast Health
A well-fitted sports bra is an essential piece of kit, but most women are unlikely to wear one. This session helps you to build the confidence to have conversations about it, connecting the dots between breast health, posture, stress, performance and pelvic health.
